At the Oromo Learning Guidance Centre Australia (OLGCA), we are deeply committed to nurturing spiritual growth and supporting the religious needs of our community. Our Religious Services Include

1. Daily Prayers

• Offering a dedicated space for the five daily prayers in congregation.
• A serene and inclusive environment for worship.

2. Friday (Jumu'ah) Prayers

• Weekly congregational prayers with khutbah addressing faith, community and contemporary issues.
• Open to all members of the community.

3. Religious Education

• Classes and workshops for all age groups focusing on:
  • Quranic recitation and memorization.
  • Understanding Islamic teachings and principles.
  • Practical guidance on living a faith-based life.

4. Counseling and Guidance

• Personalised support from qualified religious leaders for:
  • Spiritual well-being and growth.
  • Marriage and family counseling.
  • Life guidance in alignment with Islamic principles.

5. Special Islamic Occasions

• Observance and celebration of key Islamic events, including:
  • Ramadan programs, such as Taraweeh prayers and Iftar gatherings.
  • Eid celebrations with communal prayers and festivities.
  • Commemorations of other significant days in the Islamic calendar.

6. Community Ceremonies

• Hosting religious ceremonies, including:
  • Nikah / marriage services.
  • Aqeeqah (birth celebrations).
